StreamLite Packable Waders (Pre-order)
We are excited to introduce our new Ultralight Packable Waders! These overshoe hip waders are designed to be worn directly over your clothing and footwear for quick stream crossings and a number of other in-water uses (trailering boats, back-country fishing, accessing shore from a boat or float plane, and much more).
These waders are light and compact, so they can easily be carried in your backpack or stored in your vehicle so you have them when you need them. A pair of waders fits easily into the stuff sack and can compress down to about the size of a softball. Including the stuff sack, the set weighs only 12-14 oz depending on size (12 oz for the small up to 14 oz for the large).
Each wader features an ultra-durable non-slip bottom material, 4 layer rip stop nylon sidewalls, an elastic strap that fits over your foot and wraps around the ankle to hold the fabric close to your leg and reduce drag caused by moving water, an elastic draw string to hold the waders tight around your thigh, and a quick-cinch strap that hooks easily over your waist band or through a belt loop to hold the waders firmly in place and allow hands-free movement.
These waders are extremely rugged and durable given their light weight and hold up extremely well in virtually any situation you might find yourself in.
Recommended sizing is as follows:
Small - Height 5'-2" to 5'-6", Shoe Size = Men's 6-9
Medium - Height 5'-7" to 5'-11", Shoe Size = Men's 8-11
Large/XL - Height 6'-0"+, Shoe Size = Men's 10-14
Disclaimer:
Water crossings are dangerous and may result in serious injury or death. Use of this product is at users own risk. Avoid crossing water that is extremely swift (moving faster than walking speed) or which is deep enough that it may overtop the waders. Use of trekking poles is highly recommended for balance and stability. Always tightly secure the drawstring around your thigh before entering water to help reduce the chance of water filling the waders in the event of a fall or encountering unexpectedly deep water.
Do not machine wash. We recommend that this item be hand washed using warm, soapy water and hung to dry.
Before storing for a prolonged period, make sure the waders are clean and completely dry inside and out. To clean and/or dry the inside of the waders, turn them completely inside out, wash or rinse as directed, and then hang to dry. Once the inside of the waders are dry, turn them correct side out and hang again to allow the outside of the waders to fully dry before storing in the stuff sack.
To store the waders in the stuff sack, flatten the waders and lay them on top of each other, fold into thirds lengthwise, and then roll them tightly (starting from the bottom of the foot and moving up) so that the air can escape from the top of the waders. Once rolled tightly, place them in the stuff sack and secure by tightening the drawstring.
